ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Builders Bazar platform ("Platform"). All users must comply with this policy to maintain a safe, professional, and efficient marketplace.

Violation of this policy may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
2.1 Professional Conduct
All users shall:

Act professionally and respectfully
Communicate in a business-appropriate manner
Honor commitments and agreements
Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and current profile information
2.2 Good Faith Dealings
Users shall engage in all transactions in good faith, meaning:

Honest representation of capabilities and offerings
Genuine intent to complete transactions
Fair pricing and competitive practices
Transparent communication about issues or delays
3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
3.1 Fraud and Misrepresentation
Users shall NOT:

Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Impersonate another person or business entity
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Use fake reviews or ratings
Manipulate prices or bidding processes
Provide fake GSTIN, PAN, or other documents
Misrepresent product quality, quantity, or specifications
3.2 Harassment and Abuse
Users shall NOT:

Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Use offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language
Make personal attacks or defamatory statements
Stalk or repeatedly contact users who have requested no contact
Engage in bullying or targeting specific users
3.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
Users shall NOT:

Send unsolicited bulk messages or quotes
Post repetitive or irrelevant content
Use automated tools to submit quotes without genuine intent
Flood the platform with unnecessary RFQs
Harvest user contact information for external marketing
3.4 Illegal Activities
Users shall NOT:

Engage in money laundering or financial crimes
Evade taxes or assist in tax evasion
Trade in counterfeit or stolen goods
Violate import/export regulations
Engage in any activity prohibited by Indian law
3.5 Intellectual Property Violations
Users shall NOT:

Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or patents
Upload content without proper rights
Use brand names without authorization
Copy or scrape Platform content
Reverse engineer Platform software
3.6 Security Violations
Users shall NOT:

Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
Disrupt Platform operations or services
Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
Circumvent security measures or authentication
3.7 Platform Circumvention
Users shall NOT:

Complete transactions outside the Platform to avoid attribution
Share login credentials with unauthorized persons
Use the Platform only to obtain contact information
Redirect business relationships established through the Platform
4. CONTRACTOR-SPECIFIC POLICIES
4.1 RFQ Posting Guidelines
Contractors shall:

Post only genuine procurement requirements
Provide accurate specifications and quantities
Set realistic timelines and delivery expectations
Respond to vendor queries within reasonable time
Honor accepted quotes unless circumstances permit withdrawal
Contractors shall NOT:

Post fake or speculative RFQs
Use RFQs solely to gather market intelligence without intent to purchase
Discriminate against vendors based on non-merit factors
Share confidential quote information with competitors
4.2 Payment Obligations
Contractors shall:

Make payments as per agreed terms
Communicate proactively about any payment delays
Not withhold payment unreasonably
Issue proper acknowledgments upon delivery
5. VENDOR-SPECIFIC POLICIES
5.1 Quotation Guidelines
Vendors shall:

Submit accurate and transparent pricing
Include all applicable charges (taxes, delivery, etc.)
Honor quoted prices for the stated validity period
Clearly state terms, conditions, and limitations
Respond to RFQs only for items they can genuinely supply
Vendors shall NOT:

Submit artificially low quotes with intent to renegotiate later
Engage in predatory pricing to eliminate competition
Collude with other vendors on pricing
Submit multiple quotes from related entities without disclosure
5.2 Fulfillment Obligations
Vendors shall:

Deliver products as per accepted specifications
Meet committed delivery timelines
Provide proper documentation (invoices, challans, etc.)
Address quality issues or complaints promptly
Not substitute products without explicit approval
5.3 Brand and Category Claims
Vendors shall:

Only claim brands/makes they are authorized to sell
Maintain proper documentation for claimed authorizations
Update category listings to reflect actual capabilities
Disclose any limitations in product availability
6. CONTENT GUIDELINES
6.1 Acceptable Content
Users may upload:

Business profile information
Product/service descriptions
Specifications and technical details
Quotations and supporting documents
Professional communications
6.2 Prohibited Content
Users shall NOT upload:

Pornographic or sexually explicit material
Violent, threatening, or graphic content
Discriminatory or hate speech content
Content promoting illegal activities
Defamatory or libelous material
Confidential information of third parties without consent
Content unrelated to construction procurement
6.3 Document Requirements
Uploaded documents must:

Be clear and legible
Be authentic and unaltered
Be relevant to the transaction or profile
Not contain embedded malware
Be in acceptable formats (PDF, JPG, PNG)
7. COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES
7.1 Professional Communication
All platform communications should:

Use professional and respectful language
Be relevant to the business matter at hand
Avoid personal topics unrelated to transactions
Be free of offensive or inappropriate content
7.2 Response Expectations
Users should:

Respond to messages within 24-48 business hours
Acknowledge receipt of important communications
Provide substantive responses, not just acknowledgments
Communicate proactively about delays or issues
7.3 Dispute Communication
During disputes:

Maintain professional tone even when frustrated
Focus on facts and solutions, not personal attacks
Document all communications
Avoid public escalation before private resolution attempts
8. ENFORCEMENT
8.1 Monitoring
Builders Bazar may monitor Platform activity to:

Detect violations of this policy
Investigate reported misconduct
Protect Platform integrity
Improve user experience
8.2 Reporting Violations
Users may report violations by:

8.3 Investigation Process
Upon receiving a report:

Initial review within 48 hours
Investigation and evidence gathering
Opportunity for accused party to respond
Decision and action within 7-14 days
Communication of outcome to relevant parties
8.4 Consequences
Violations may result in:

Level 1 - Warning:

First-time minor violations
Written warning issued
Recorded in user history
Level 2 - Temporary Suspension:

Repeated minor violations
Single moderate violation
Account suspended for 7-30 days
Level 3 - Permanent Termination:

Severe violations
Multiple repeated violations
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Account permanently terminated
8.5 Appeals
Users may appeal enforcement actions by:

9. MODIFICATIONS
We may modify this policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
